Welcome to RAPA Dance
At RAPA Dance we believe in nurturing young talent, creating dancers and performers who can express themselves in an individual way so they are confident and bright performers.
We are here to guide and train your child to a professional and high standard, both in the ISTD syllabus and with freestyle classes whether it be for sheer enjoyment or for a career in dance and the Performing Arts, keeping their excitement and love for what they do intact.
'RAPA Dance' specialise in all genres of dance, with fully qualified ISTD trained teachers providing classes from ages 2 through to adults. Our professional studios are based at Ratton School in Eastbourne, East Sussex
We'e got some fantastic news to announce!
I am beyond proud of our dance school. We've all worked so hard at RAPA Dance to get to where we are today providing classes for all ages, levels and for all children to feel they have somewhere safe to dance. Myself and our wonderful teachers are so proud to have been selected and to now be an "Affiliate School of
The London Ballet Company."
Our #rapaberries are wonderful souls and to be recognised for all their hard work is just the icing on a very delicious cake.
I'm excited to be affiliated with TLBC as we have similar ideas and visions for young dancers.
The ethos of The London Ballet Company is to advance the technical skills and nurture the mental, physical and social
well-being of young artists in an inclusive creative stimulating and inspiring training environment.
It is our ethos to provide a platform for dancers to develop their career providing performing opportunities regardless
of shape and size. Really looking forward to exciting times ahead.
NEW for September
'Chords of Confidence' Class
Get ready to shine with our brand new class, 'Chords of Confidence' launching at RAPA Dance this September!

Suitable for all dancers who want to explore their capabilities in all things Performing Arts.

Dancers in the industry must now be able to sing and act through song. Auditioning for performing arts colleges can be a daunting experience and this class aims to build your confidence in standing up in front of people, experimenting and finding the right song for you and guiding you on your journey in dance and performing arts.

This class promises to be a lot of fun, filled with laughter, and a chance to compete at local festivals as a team with plenty of opportunities to showcase and explore your talents!

This class will be on the timetable Saturdays 2.30-3.30pm with myself and Mia for dancers age 7+. Mia choreographed our Mama Mia number in the RAPA Show this year and has been a huge favourite at Summer and Easter school this past year. This class is to support your current classes and Musical Theatre Groups and support our young performers to continue to build their confidence, especially for anyone wanting to audition for Vocational college at 16 or 18. We are passionate about helping our dancers 'find their voice' and want them to enjoy growing in confidence.
Email us now to register your interest. Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to unleash your inner performer and take your musical theatre skills to the next level! ðŸŽðŸŽ¶

'Discover your Talent'
Classical Greek Dance
Classical Greek has been so popular amongst the students over the years, with dance festivals and workshops from both myself, Miss Tegan and Miss Pippa and I am really happy to be inviting Pippa, a good friend of mine and ole dancing buddy to join our team on a regular basis and offer these wonderful classes to all dancers age 9+ on a Tuesday 6.30-7.15.
Ellie's Fitness Fusion Class
Saturdays 1.30-2.30pm Age 11+ This class will build stamina, endurance, power, strength and flexibility for our dancers and offer the opportunity to practise skills seen on Instagram, TikTok in a safe environment under supervision.
A lot of our dancers love being inspired and want to learn tricks and moves taught in Vocational colleges. We do spend time in Jazz perfecting scissor leaps, fame jumps etc and this class will allow dancers to practise even more tricky steps or continue to perfect leaps for festival dances. Advisable for dancers wishing to go on to Performing Arts College, a career in Dance or regular festival dancers.
