This October, RAPA Dance perfromed on the big stage at 'Disneyland Paris' for there 'Take Us 2 The Magic' Performing in front of a packed theatre. Some of our dancers had the most amazing & magical experience performing at Disneyland Paris. At RAPA, our aim is to offer all children the opportunity to perform, whether on the big stage at Disney, in a dance festival, fete or our bi-annual school show. It's all part of the excellent, professional training you'll receive at RAPA Dance.

RAPA Dance Easter school is jam-packed once more with fun & exciting dancing for three days in the Easter holidays from April 8th until the 10th 9.30-3pm @Ratton School. With guest teachers delivering commercial dance, musical theatre & jazz workshops. On site parking available.

The RAPA DANCE Summer School has been running for 7 years and offers children the chance to attend one of the friendliest and most fun and inspiring weeks of their summer holidays. 9:30-3pm @Ratton School.
Filled with Games, Guests from the West End, residential teachers in Contemporary, Ballet, Jazz and Tap and lots and lots of fun.

In May of this year we held our 3rd bi-annual school show 'Dance Is...' at the fantastic Royal Hippodrome Theatre in Eastbourne.
Performing to a packed house our RAPA Berries excelled in their love of dance once again!

In May, we held our first show since 2018 at the amazing 'Hippodrome Theatre. I am so proud of everything these amazing dancers have achieved and it was wonderful to see them all together and having fun performing once more.

We are thrilled to be welcoming Jodie Clark to RAPA DANCE for a masterclass on Sunday July 2nd.
Some of you will recognise her as this years adjudicator at Eastbourne Festival. Jodie is full of knowledge, vitality and full of advise for all ages, especially those starting to think about a career in dance and Performing Arts and future College choices.
Easter irish dance school

In April we held our annual 'Irish Dance Workshop', this year with Matt Smith who is the Irish male lead in the world touring smash hit of 'Lord of the Dance'. We all love Irish at RAPA & it was a fantastic day. Thanks, Matt!

"You'll never stop us dancing!"
Lock-down was a tough time for many but also one of family & reconnecting. For us, at RAPA we embraced the change. I and my teachers were quick to get our classes online via Zoom and the children & parents responded amazingly. Even though some were in the wings waiting for classes to resume

Miss Emma - 'Let's prep for Tap exams on Zoom!' I said.
'Yes!' the students & parents cried.
'Why not? let's go for it!'
Four of our fabulous students took their G3 Tap exam during Lock-down 3.0 with fabulous results.
All 4 of them passed with Distinction and we couldn't be more proud of their hard work, dedication, and resilience.
Smiles all around and what an achievement.
