JAMES MICHAEL HARRIS

James is a professional dancer, director/choreographer & educator. James’s style is a combination of his love for Jazz & Musical Theatre alongside his extensive training in both the Contemporary and Commercial industries. James' experience in across multiple areas of the industry at differing levels leaves him with an expansive and detailed skillset. From musical direction and arranging to costume, lighting and set design to choreography and movement direction, James provides a 360 degree view of the creation process and is a passionate, empathetic and driven leader.

 

James is currently an Associate Lecturer of Jazz & Contemporary at The Brighton Academy and has also delivered classes and directed/choreographed at leading Musical Theatre schools across the UK including Performers College, Leeds Conservatoire, Stella Mann College, Creative Academy, & Bird College.

JAMES ROSENTAL

James is an international choreographer and director reimagining and reshaping the theatrical boundaries of contemporary musical theatre. James has choreographed and movement directed for numerous large scale opera and musical productions and has worked for renowned theatres and companies on a range of national and international successes. James also teaches his emoting through movement practices to leading performance institutions in the UK.

 

James Rosental also cofounded his artistic and creative partnership with James Michael Harris who work together as JAMESQUARED. A creative collaboration combining the skillsets of two dynamic artists in their own rights.

Also on the 18th August experience a great Tap class from our very own Sonny Trewin.

Sonny has trained at RAPA DANCE since he was a young boy and found a love for Tap Dance. He worked so hard in his classes to achieve his dream to be part of the company with Tap Attack where he went on to become 4th in the world at the Tap World Cup.

Sonny is due to start college this September in Barcelona at the brilliant @luthierdansa where he will continue to train in Tap, Jazz and Contemporary.
